Canossa - Calculating Easter

This page will allow the visitor to calculate Easter in the Church of England and other western churches from the adoption of the Gregorian calendar in 1752 until the earth, sun or moon slows down so much that it needs to be redefined.
Calculations apply the Gregorian algorithm published by Jean Meeus in “Astronomical Algorithms” (1991). The visitor is encouraged to verify the results against the tables published in the Book of Common Prayer. The Golden Number and Dominical Letter are given for this purpose.
